Isaac Dickson spent nearly 30 years in the temporary employment industry as the Vice President of The Hiring Authority and is currently the Director of Marketing for Atchison Transportation Service. Isaac is the chair of the Habitat Family Selection Committee and serves on the Development Committee.
A native of Montgomery, Ala., Isaac has lived in Spartanburg since 1981. Isaac's professional memberships include the Society of Human Resource Management, Spartanburg Human Resource Association and the S.C. Association of Personnel Services.
In 1991, Isaac was the first African American to be elected to the Board of Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union, Spartanburg. In 2004, he was elected as the Board Chairman. Isaac has served as the Chairman of the S.C. Credit Union League's Diversity Committee and as a League Board Member. He is also a founding member of the African-American Union Coalition, serving as its first Secretary.
Isaac is Chairman of the Board of Deacons at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church; is a Board Member for the S.C. Workforce Initiative Board; President of the Kiwanis Club of Spartanburg; a member of the Sparkle City Transparent Men, an interdenominational Men's Bible Study; a member of Transitional Living Advisory Board for Hope Center for Children and member of the One Spartanburg Entrepreneurial Action Team.
A graduate of Livingstone College, Isaac is married with one son.
