Sarah Burnett has worked in the Family Services Department at Habitat for Humanity of Spartanburg since 2016. As the Associate Director of Program Services, she oversees the selection processes for both the Homeownership Program and the Critical Home Repair Program.
Sarah’s educational background includes a degree in Psychology and certifications in Housing Counseling and Mortgage Origination. She has experience working with diverse families and children in crisis, and she enjoys helping them achieve safety and stability through homeownership.
“I get to meet people where they are and help them find and follow the path God has prepared for them,” Sarah said. “That’s a blessing.”
She believes this hands-on approach to service is one of the most important ways we can demonstrate Christ’s love in our community. After experiencing the life-changing love of Jesus in 2012, Sarah’s greatest joy has been found in sharing that love with others.
Sarah is thankful to be part of Habitat’s team, where we work every day to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities, and hope.
