"This is a great place to work," Teresa said. "We're a ministry so we're able to serve people who wouldn't otherwise live the American Dream and to me, it's so rewarding and a blessing to be able to serve."
Home dedication ceremonies are planned at the end of the construction phase and provide an opportunity for homeowners to meet volunteers and sponsors who made their home possible. "You see the difference you're making at the home dedications," she said. "Everyone is so proud of the work they've accomplished and to give thanks for the home - and the people who will live there is wonderful."
Teresa is married with three children and eight grandchildren. In her spare time, Teresa enjoys working outside, home maintenance projects and reading.
