Help Build a Dream
Habitat for Humanity of Spartanburg cannot succeed without the support of donors and volunteers. We count on caring businesses, churches, foundations, civic groups and individuals to achieve our mission. Without you as our partner in this important effort, we would not be able to build a single home. Your financial support is most sincerely needed and appreciated. And remember, your gift, as always, is totally tax deductible.
Currently, it costs approximately $65,000 and 3,000 volunteer hours to build a Habitat home. Whether you are able to make a major gift to fully fund a home or to co-fund a home along with another major donor or you wish to give $100 (perhaps a memorial or honorarium) we welcome and appreciate your gift. Know that we will use it in a cost effective manner, as good stewards, to further our mission.

Nail A Birthday
To honor your special person, make a donation of $20 or more to Habitat and we will "Nail" their birthday with a special greeting on your behalf. Just let us know who you'd like to honor and the date of their birthday. We'll do the rest.
Your gift can be made in honor of or in memory of someone special to you. Gifts made to Habitat for Humanity of Spartanburg will be recognized in our newsletter.
Why give to Habitat for Humanity of Spartanburg?
➢ TO CHANGE LIVES: Since Habitat began its ministry in Spartanburg County in 1987, approximately 80 homes have been built and over 80 families have moved from unsound housing to decent, affordable homes.
➢ TO ENABLE PEOPLE: Homeowners take pride in their homes and their families have a renewed sense of well being which leads to positive attitudes and actions.
➢ TO IMPROVE THE COMMUNITY: Habitat homes replace empty lots, run-down buildings and down-trodden communities. Homeowners become tax payers and contributors to our society.
➢ TO HONOR OR MEMORIALIZE THOSE YOU LOVE: Any monetary gift to Habitat for Humanity can be designated as an honor or memorial gift to recognize or remember loved ones. Just let us know and we will promptly notify the one you are honoring or the family of the one being remembered.
