Board of Directors

Meghan is the owner of Teague Studio, a Spartanburg based architecture firm focusing on custom residential and small commercial work. Meghan’s interest in architecture began with an elementary school visit to the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC. She was (and still is) enamored by the design and construction methods employed by George Vanderbilt, Richard Morris Hunt, and Fredrick Law Olmstead to create a home and landscape truly meant for the ages. With a passion for art and science, Meghan pursued undergraduate and graduate degrees in Architecture from Clemson University, taking advantage of every opportunity to study off-campus in Spain, Italy, Charleston, and South America. While Meghan’s current work is focused near her home base in the American South, she remains fascinated by the vast cultural and physical influences of people, communities, and regions on architectural design.

After practicing across public and private sectors in Jackson, WY, Washington DC, and Charleston, SC, Meghan found her way to the South Carolina Upstate where she worked for several years before founding Teague Studio. She now focuses on residential and small commercial work, aiming to create places at the crossroads of beauty and function in perfect harmony with setting and client vision. Meghan’s home proves both inspirational and educational as she appreciates the character and tackles the challenges brought forth by an historic home.

Outside the studio, you might find her spending time with her husband, Reed, and supporting their alma mater, the Clemson Tigers, or exploring a new city while coercing her family to tour an architectural icon. She also loves trying to keep up with her two children on bikes, hikes, or skiis, coaching youth soccer, and cheering loudly at youth baseball games!
