Taylor White

Board Secretary

Taylor White grew up in Atlanta, where in middle school, he began volunteering for a non-profit that specialized in residential roofing repair.  Taylor's desire to help communities and individuals grew from there.

Taylor found his way to Spartanburg via Wofford College where he graduated in 2012 with an Environmental Studies degree. Upon graduating from Wofford, he began a brewing career at RJ Rockers in downtown Spartanburg. It was there that he became involved in charity events, fundraisers, festivals, and concerts and felt welcomed into the Spartanburg community.

Taylor is an  Assistant Project Manager at Morgan Corp, a Spartanburg-based Heavy Civil Grading Contractor who serves projects across the Southeast. Since joining the Morgan Corp team in 2018, Taylor has been a part of a variety of projects but most recently, the Unity Park project in downtown Greenville that will operate as one of the largest community gathering areas for the City of Greenville in the coming years. Working in construction--whether it is building a city park, reclaiming a wetland, improving regional infrastructure, or building a subdivision--Taylor is  motivated to help improve communities and the surrounding environment. Working with Habitat will continue to intensify Taylor's desire to improve communities and also daily lives on a more individual and personal level.

Taylor is married to Kate, who is a Spartanburg native, and they welcomed their first child, Virginia, in August 2020.
