Carolyn joined Habitat in 2023.  After completing a Bachelor of Social Work degree with UNC Charlotte, Carolyn began her career in community development managing homeowner programming in the Northside of Spartanburg. She spent her time learning about nonprofit management, client care, and real estate development. Her love for housing and helping her neighbors grew over the 6 years spent with the Northside, along with the desire to share her knowledge and skills with others. From there she spent some time with United Way of the Piedmont managing AmeriCorps programming to grow the next generation of nonprofit professionals. Now Carolyn is back in her housing roots combining her favorite skills of homeownership and teaching by assisting current and potential homeowners in achieving their homeownership goals.
