Charlitta Curbeam is a CPA candidate and accomplished finance leader with over 20 years of experience across nonprofit, government, real estate, and corporate accounting environments. She joined the Habitat Spartanburg team in 2025 as Director of Finance, where she leads the organization’s financial strategy, oversees accounting and reporting functions, strengthens internal controls, and supports long-term sustainability and mission impact.
Charlitta brings deep expertise in GAAP compliance, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, grant and fund accounting, and multi-entity financial reporting. Her background includes senior leadership roles in multifamily real estate finance, publicly traded corporate environments, with responsibility for overseeing capital planning, audits, and cross-departmental budgeting.
Known for her ability to stabilize and modernize financial operations, Charlitta excels at improving transparency and translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership and boards. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with a concentration in Servant Leadership and is deeply committed to building strong, accountable financial infrastructures that advance community-focused missions.
