Heidie joined Habitat Spartanburg in 2026 as a ReStore Warehouse Associate. She started volunteering with Habitat Spartanburg in 2024 and ultimately decided to join the team.  Originally from North Carolina, Heidie has called Spartanburg her home since 2021. She and her partner have shared more than 20 wonderful years together, raising two sons and enjoying time with their two daughters-in-law, five grandchildren, and two dogs.

I have felt more of a community here in Spartanburg than where I was born and raised. Volunteering and now working at Habitat is like being a part of a family I proud of.
